VPT defines sustainability simply as "utilizing and preserving resources in a manner that enables their use indefinitely." VPT contributes directly to the sustainability of the Cheese, Yogurt, Dairy, Food, and Beverage Production Markets by working with Processors to apply the latest Process Technologies that enable resource sustainability in food and beverage production.

VPT creates measurable value for Customers by enabling the use of innovative process systems that reduce energy, water, and ingredient use, and directly contribute to the sustainability of Cheese, Yogurt, Dairy, Food & Beverage production. The adoption of new and innovative process technologies and instrumentation systems that can measure and analyze critical process variables are vital to the sustainability of Cheese, Yogurt, Dairy, Food, and Beverage processing industries. VPT's Founder has over twenty years of experience in developing, marketing, selling, and servicing products and systems that conserve energy and improve the process efficiency of diverse industrial and commercial processes.

Our employees volunteer a minimum of two weeks per year assisting early stage local companies in commercializing their new products. We also strive to know and support our local and regional Food Processors. We recycle cardboard, paper, glass, and plastic, and donate all returnables to the local Humane Society.

VPT uses electricity that is 60% hydroelectric and 40% wind power with a goal of being carbon neutral by 2016.
